Michael Victoria Moore, BBA, is a permaculture designer, educator, and community organizer, and the owner of Genesis Permaculture, a regenerative landscape and edible-landscaping design firm based in Edmonton, Alberta.

Since 2011, she has been designing, teaching, and installing permaculture systems across urban and rural Alberta, with a focus on food forests, water-wise edible landscapes, soil regeneration, and community food security.

Michael draws on more than a decade in business and project administration in the energy and infrastructure sectors, where she specialized in project controls, contracts, and team leadership, alongside a fine arts background in sculpture and studio arts that informs her eye for beautiful, functional outdoor spaces.

She has served as President of both the Edmonton Permaculture Guild and the Permaculture Calgary Guild, and regularly facilitates workshops and speaking engagements on topics such as rainwater harvesting, soil microbiology, microclimates, and regenerative living for communities, schools, and organizations throughout Alberta.
