Sunrise Gardens is a Certified Organic microgreen and vegetable farm located just west of Onoway, Alberta, focused on microgreens, specialty greens, vegetables, edible flowers, and wheatgrass.
The farm is dedicated to earth‑friendly, ecologically sound farming practices and has been serving conscious, engaged customers at the Old Strathcona Farmers’ Market since 2003.
As responsible stewards of the land, Sunrise Gardens uses organic and ecologically sound methods to grow unique, high‑quality produce while fostering authentic, mutually beneficial relationships with customers, employees, and family.
Over the years, the farm has expanded from a large family garden into a multi‑structure operation with indoor microgreen production and cold frames that extend the growing season, allowing them to provide fresh greens and vegetables much earlier than the local climate would typically permit.
