Come visit with us at our table!
Edmonton Seedy Sunday is a seed exchange and sale. We acknowledge that the land on which we will gather is Indigenous territory and has been stewarded by the Cree, Blackfoot, Anishinaabe, Nakota Sioux, and Dene Peoples since time immemorial. Today, all residents of Treaty 6 territory have rights and responsibilities as treaty people to uphold the treaty relationship.
Edmonton Seedy Sunday’s mandate is to:
~ Promote seed saving and sharing
~ Support the distribution of organic and open-pollinated seeds
~ Share information for gardening organizations
~ Encourage a community of gardeners – young and old!
Admission to the event is free! Donations are gladly accepted. Many of the vendors only accept cash — there is an ATM on site but come prepared! The building is fully wheelchair accessible. Transit accessible via Kingsway Transit Centre then bus #125 Jasper Place to stop #1122 WB. Free bike and vehicle/carpool parking in the north parking lot of Central Lion’s Rec Centre.
Swap or donate your organic vegetable, fruit or flower seeds. Please package in a sealed envelope and label with as much info as you have!
