Sustainable Me

An exciting new six part documentary series about how Edmontonians are creatively going green in our fair city. The Edmonton Permaculture Guild in partnership with Company of Women on the Screen is pleased to announce the debut screening of Sustainable Me.

Sustainable Me looks at sustainability in a new light; exploring how small personal life changes can have a ripple effect contributing to a greener future. Follow host Paula Humby as she explores six topics – Food, Water, Housing, Transportation, Economy and Community and Personal Resilience. By talking to young change makers, Paula learns how applying the models used by nature to human living – a design system known as Permaculture – can vastly increase the quality and richness of experience and interpersonal connections, and revitalize the human relationship with the natural world. On her journey, Paula finds that recognizing our role within the natural ecosystem, sharing knowledge and building strong community relationships can contribute to a more sustainable and joyful future for us all.

Sustainable Me is a multi platform, engaging, online community based project. The full series will air for free on Telus Optik TV VOD in August 2016.

Sustainable Me website has bonus content such as YouTube clips and Podcast episodes and will be launched free to enjoy August 4th.
